Classes

Our classes are designed and put together by our team of freestyle instructors. All of our instructors will instruct you on how to complete the exercises correctly and ensure that you are applying the correct technique. You will learn, improve and progress in all of these classes.

Join in one of our strengthening and toning classes to build muscle and increase your strength. Using a selection of weights, barbells, bands and also bodyweight, these classes will benefit you in so many ways.

STRENGTH n TONE - NEW

A weight training class which will strengthen, tone and promote healthy muscle development. Training against resistance, the class will incorporate a mixture of free weights, barbell and body weight routines to give you a full body workout. In addition to providing a full body tone, weight training will elevate your metabolism.

LEGS, BUMS AND TUMS (LBT)

This class focuses on technique and toning rather than intensity; targeting specific problem areas. A short aerobic warm-up may be included followed by a series of exercises for legs, bums and abdominal areas. Suitable for all levels.

TOTAL BODY TONE (TBT)

Tones and shapes – burns around 600 calories. It includes a 10mins cardio warm-up to improve your overall fitness level and also relieve muscle soreness and stiffness. FBT uses a combination of light/heavy handheld weights (your choice). It aims to help you tone up your legs, stomach, arms, chest, shoulders and back. It incorporates flexibility work to help define sleek muscles, causing you to lose inches in the process.


We have a variety of cardio classes that are suitable for all levels. Ranging from Pedal Power, which is indoors on a studio cycle to the running club which is taken outside around our 17 acre site. Cardio exercise is any exercise that raises your heart rate. Let’s face it our bodies were designed to move, and we all know that to keep our muscles in shape we need to move them. This movement makes them stronger and stronger muscles make for a more efficient and healthy body. Your heart is a muscle and therefore needs to be worked to make it stronger and more efficient.

PEDAL POWER

Using a stationary bike with a height restriction of 5ft applies. Your instructor will lead you through a variety of drills to music. Which will include; hill climbs, sprints, interval training plus much more. This class improves cardiovascular fitness and stamina. Suitable for all levels.

PEDAL POWER MEGAMIX

Is an advanced class with a continuous mix of music. Includes hill climbs, sprints and intervals all set to the beat of the music, this class will certainly get your heart pumping. Not suitable for beginners.


Come along to one of our mind and body classes which include a selection of calming/relaxation exercises. The goal of calming and relaxation exercises is to help change the way you perceive a situation and react to it — to help you feel more in control, more confident or secure, and to activate healing processes within the body. Learn how to increase your flexibility, strength and how to be able to switch off and relax properly. The relaxation techniques incorporated in yoga can lessen chronic pain, such as lower back pain, arthritis, headaches and carpal tunnel syndrome, Yoga can also lower blood pressure and reduce insomnia.

BENEFITS OF BODY & MIND EXERCISE

YOGA

A general yoga class with a focus on breath awareness and mindful movement. Practice strengthening and stretching postures with an experienced British wheel of yoga instructor. Gentle warm up and relaxation included. Suitable for all levels.

UNITE

Unite cleverly combines Yoga and Pilates focusing on developing and improving overall fitness, balance, strength and stamina, core strength and flexibility. This class runs over a 6 week programme so that you can monitor your progression and perfect your technique. This class is suitable for all levels.

STRETCH IT!

A series of sports inspired stretches to help your flexibility, range of motion, balance and posture. Most beneficial if your body is already warmed up. Adrian will show you how to stretch all areas using a variety of different techniques. Increasing your flexibility will help with all areas of your training, will also help to prevent injury and also will improve your posture.

PURE YOGA

This more holistic approach to Yoga will help you to focus your mind and relax your body. You will be introduced to various ways of Prana breathing to boost physical and mental well-being. Whilst also strengthening the muscles and improving flexibility, helping to improve your overall balance. This class is suitable for all ages and levels of Yoga.

PILATES

This class focuses on correct posture and alignment, strength and flexibility by developing an understanding of the importance of your core and how to use it correctly.


FITNESS PILATES

Each class will work to balance all muscle groups' strength & flexibility, with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each movement...Pilates is a challenging yet safe method to sculpt your body and to feel increased agility in your everyday movements. Light weights can be included.

VINYASA YOGA

Vinyasa means ‘breath synchronised movement’. A series of poses that move through the power of our inhalation’s and exhalations.

These classes combine a selection of cardio and strength exercises, giving you a complete full body workout. You will receive all of the benefits of cardio training and also strength and toning exercises.

BOXERCISE

Boxercise really is a great workout, it uses the principles and exercises that boxers use to get super fit but has been adapted to ensure your session is safe. This class uses variety of different training styles from pad work, to circuits and HiiT style sessions. It’s fun, it burns around 800 calories per session and it’s suitable for everyone.

HIIT (HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING

is a type of cardio training in which you alternate short, very high intensity intervals with longer, slower intervals to recover. This type of training has been used by athletes to improve performance, but it’s also been shown to benefit the average exerciser. HIIT training not only helps performance, it also improves the ability of the muscles to burn fat. Using equipment and also bodyweight, this class will fire up your muscles and get results. Suitable for all levels.


Core exercises train the muscles in your pelvis, lower back, hips and abdomen to work in harmony. This leads to better balance, stability and strength, whether on the playing field or in daily activities. In fact, most sports and other physical activities depend on stable core muscles. Back pain is often a sign of a weak core. So by working the core, you help to increase your stability and reduce weaknesses.

CORE BALLS

Stability balls provide a fun way to improve core stability, muscular strength, muscular endurance, balance, flexibility and functional fitness. Suitable for all levels.

This class you will be using various skills and techniques to target the core muscles, designed to tone, build & strengthen the abdominal area.

BENEFITS OF FUNCTIONAL FITNESS
  • Exercises train your muscles to work together and prepare them for daily tasks by stimulating common movements you might do at home, at work or in sports. While using various muscles in the upper and lower body at the same time, functional fitness exercises also emphasise core stability. This class is based in the gym, using various pieces of equipment.

Come along to our functional fitness area.

Loads of new pieces of equipment including kettlebells, suspension training, squat rack & Olympic bar, plyometric boxes, slam balls, medicine balls and fixed barbells. We will be holding classes in this area utilising different pieces of equipment. All of our trainers are here ready to help you achieve the fitness goals that you have set for yourself.
